Module “Sourdough bread” in the Gastro HUB Bakery
«Stolychnyi» market never stops developing and keeps on expanding its opportunities for you! On the basis of our multifunctional location “GastoHub”, in partnership with “Profitex”, we founded a new studio “Gastro HUB Bakery”!
On November 20-21, we already carried out the first event – a signature module “Sourdough bread” by the chef of the bakery “Bakehouse” and “Goodwine” Anna Makievska. As a part of this event, Anna told about sourdough bread, dough fermentation, production stages, mixing techniques, equipment of the bakery, profitability of the process, and bakers’ mistakes. Moreover, she baked sourdough wheat baguettes, Tartine bread with American and Ukrainian flour, spelt bread, and buns for burgers. All participants tasted each type of bread and discussed all nuances of the process.
50 bakers and chefs from all over Ukraine went to their restaurants and bakeries for experiments, creation of signature recipes, and promotion of the culture of high-quality bread among Ukrainian guests. The event was organized by: Gastro HUB, Profitex, Fontegro, “Stolichnyi” market, Goodwine, and Bakehouse.
